Well hello again!

No pictures this time but I am currently working on a little bunny rabbit. Can't tell you his name yet, that will come as he nears completion. I always find my creations don't develop their full personalities until they are nearly finished and it is only then that you can give them a name. I was going to photograph it as a work in progress but I forgot so I promise I will chart my next creation from a fuzzy ball of fluff to the end product. So far bunny has a little tubby body and two nearly finished feet. He can't wait until he has a head though. He is missing out on all those carrots! Have to fly now, it is my baby brothers birthday, he's 32 and getting so grown up lol! Byeeee!

As promised...

My second needle felted creation. Sleepy mouse! All ready for bed in his stripy night cap and slippers with a nice toasty hot water bottle. I hope you like him, I think he is gorgeous but am of course biased. He is also available to buy in my Etsy shop, just follow the link on the right hand side.

I now have to decide what to create next. Maybe a bunny rabbit as I have been sketching a few of those recently. You'll have to wait and see!

Hello!

Hello and welcome to my blog. My name is Sarah and I live in Lincoln, England.
I trained as an illustrator and have a love of all things creative. My latest passion is needlefelting. This involves taking a tangled mess of merino wool and stabbing it (and occasionally your fingers) until it magically transforms into an animal, a doll, a picture or anything you can imagine! After a few false starts I am pleased to present to the world His Royal Haughtiness The Bird King! A regal fellow with delusions of grandeur, tired of his current status in life he is now ready to spread his wings and fly away and is for sale here in my Etsy shop. Thankyou for stopping by and I hope to be sharing more of my creations very soon.
